I refer to your email dated 5 November 2010 in which you requested information about whether the Australian Human Rights Commission  can investigate complaints from other countries.

 

The Australian Human Rights Commission is a Commonwealth Government body. It administers human rights and anti-discrimination laws in Australia only. The Commission has no jurisdiction to investigate complaints about events which have occurred overseas.
